Join as we spend a few hours sharing food, playing games, worshipping and hearing from Paul Friend, director of South West Youth Ministries (SWYM). We shall meet at Blaise Castle Estate, 10-2pm.

10:00 - Welcome
10:15 - Introduction
10:20 - Worship
10:40 - Paul Friend “How to stay in ministry for the long haul"
11:00 - Prayer for one another
11:15 - Retreat Space (Time with God to pray & reflect)
11:45 - Regroup with optional sharing of reflections
12:00 - Lunch and optional games / activities
14:00 - Finish
Please bring a picnic and a blanket / chair.
There are toilets, a car park and a small cafe onsite.
In the event of poor weather, those who register will be contacted on the day to inform them of swithcing to meet online instead.

Paul Friend is married to Jo, has two boys aged 12 & 9 and lives in Woodbury just outside Exeter. Paul has been involved with SWYM for over 20 years, faithfully serving this generation in the south-west. He will share with us his advice and experience on how to be in ministry for the long haul. Paul also helps lead a local church in East Devon and when not doing that loves a good movie and any sport with a ball!
